TSU game will be televised live over the Internet


Sportsview.tv, the broadband TV sports network for Digital Media Broadcasting Corp. (DMBC), has announced that it signed the UTM to an agreement to broadcast its sporting events. The first University of Tennessee at Martin event airing live on Sportsview.tv will be the Sept. 9 football game against Tennessee State.

“Sportsview.tv is providing us with global visibility for our football program and extending our reach to a wider audience of alumni, students and fans,” said Phil Dane, UTM Athletic Director.

“We’re extremely excited about the high-quality broadcast delivery of Sportsview.tv and the unique way they will be showcasing our games. Fans anywhere will be able to catch our battle against Tennessee State live from their broadband TV and PC. And Sportsview offers our fans an interactive viewing experience with complementary content such as player information and game schedules. It’s like having our own TV network broadcasting around the world!”

Sportsview.tv will host, distribute and broadcast the University of Tennessee at Martin games live and also make them available on-demand for future viewing. As part of Sportsview.tv’s extensive marketing support program, University of Tennessee at Martin alumni, coaches, scouts, students and their families will receive detailed information about the events well in advance of the games.

Viewers purchase individual game tickets or a season package, and receive reminders of game times for tickets they have purchased.
