Announcement to UTM: (singing in the background “announcements, announcements, a terrible way to die ... OK, moving right along)
This was the final week of political columns. Some people were happy with the outcome and some are threatening to flee to Canada.
Regardless of who you wanted to win, George W. Bush was re-elected for another term. Don’t be a baby about it if you voted for Kerry or Nader, just suck it up and stand behind President Bush.
In a time when we worry about terrorist attacks, we need to unite together and support President Bush’s endeavors. He needs our support at this crucial period in U.S. history, no matter how much you like or dislike the man.

I am not suggesting that we all become sheep and follow Bush’s every policy, decision and suggestion. I want every American to voice his or her opinion but make sure you are not undermining his authority. — Even though this is the end of the “Politics on Campus” debate series between the College Democrats and College Republicans, please feel free to voice your opinion on what you think President Bush is doing right or wrong.
