“Work hard, play hard, pray hard and love your family.”

This was the creed of a wonderful young man by the name of Brian Brown. Brian was the Director of Campus Recreation before his untimely death in 1999 when he was killed while riding his bike on the Martin bypass. He was a favorite of students, faculty and staff. He practiced this and it has come to mean a great deal to me and others who still miss Brian very much. As we start the school year, we would all be wise to follow Brian’s creed.
