Modern Foreign Language Day to challenge local high school students

The UTM International Program and the Department of Modern Foreign Languages are hosting the 2006 High School Foreign Language Day today from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Boling University Center.
High School Foreign Language Day is an annual event that brings high school students from surrounding counties on campus to take part in competitions based on their knowledge of French or Spanish. While at UTM, students are introduced to the professors and learn about the foreign language programs available at UTM. The competitions for both French and Spanish students include the best video, best poster, best recipe, and a culture bowl where teams of four answer questions about language and culture
