Housing pushing students toward Martin Place

What is going on with housing?

I was very shocked to find out Austin Peay dorm was closing down. I am pretty sure everyone was shocked when they received the information.

It is so chaotic right now. It seems as if housing is forcing people to move to Martin Place simply because housing bought Martin Place.

Moving off campus can be an inconvenience for some students who do not have cars, and also for students who do have cars.

It takes a lot of time for some students to find a parking space in the morning. Taking four floors of boys and two floors of girls and making them move to the other remaining dorms is outrageous!

I guess it is out of the question for some students to have a private room, I guess your best bet is to move off campus, which means waking up earlier than normal just so you can get a parking space.

Even if you do not have a car, you would have to wake up extra early just so that you can take that long walk to Gooch or even the Elam Center.

I just hope that everyone receives the proper housing arrangements that they signed up for instead of facing the next consecutive year dealing with numerous disgruntled results.
