Election year once again.
If you have been watching the news lately, you have seen that a majority of the coverage is about the Democratic Presidential nominee elections. While there are several people running for the coveted job as the President of the United States, not much has been said about the Republicans.
The two most heard from Democrats in the race are Sen. John Kerry (who won both the Iowa and New Hampshire primaries) and former Vermont governor Howard Dean (best known for what is being called the “I have to scream” speech).
While I do have my own political opinions, I want to hear about it from YOU! There have been opinions in recent issues of The Pacer from both the College Democrats and the College Republicans, but hardly any of the content has been about the recent events of the primaries.
Let me know what you think. Who is your choice for the office of the United States President and why? What makes that person stand out from the others who are running for the same job? Who knows, what you say about your candidate may sway the opinion of a student, faculty or staff member reading your opinion. Go ahead and change the future.
Don’t forget that the Tennessee primary is Feb. 10.
